200 Paul Avenue is home to over 30 Carriers and ISPs,
with another 15 Carriers expected to be in residence by
the end of 2002. All but one of the proprietary Metro
Area Networks serving the Bay Area are either at 200 Paul
Avenue, or within one block of the facility.
Last mile broadband solutions including cable, fiber,
wireless and DSL are at 200 Paul and are ready to serve
the downtown office market, most regional office centers,
as well as outlying neighborhoods.
With 420,000 square feet of specially designed, seismically
secure telecom and datacenter space in the first two buildings
at its 15-acre campus; Wave Exchange's 200 Paul Avenue
facilities can meet customer's requirements; from a single
cabinet to 100,000 square feet.
Abundant power and planned buildings ensure future scalability
within the campus. Wave
Exchange is currently planning an additional building
of 330,000 square feet, with completion expected by Spring
of 2004. This means that a customer need only commit to
current space requirements and Wave Exchange will make
sure that comparable expansion room is available elsewhere
in the campus in the future.
All
buildings on the San Francisco campus are interconnected
with Wave Exchange's own fiber optic cable and conduit
network. Buildings are connected via diverse fiber conduit
pathways, multiple meet-me-rooms and extensive riser capacity.
This extensive build-out enables the tenants to locate
in multiple buildings as they grow, while maintaining
instantaneous connectivity between all facilities. Wave
Exchange's progressive expansion plan provides a completely
unique environment for the carrier and telecom service
