Infrastructure And Technical Specs
SNS data center provides world-class infrastructure, power
and environmentals. SNS is located in a 25,000 square foot
data center in the Downtown Phoenix Technology Exchange
(DPTE) in Phoenix, AZ. See map below.
Structure
The SNS data center is housed in a blast-resistant concrete
structure with 18 inch thick steel-reinforced walls.
The DPTE building has been redeveloped to accommodate
the specific needs of its telecommunications and data
communications clientele.
Primary
Power
Service is provided to the building by Arizona Public
Service (APS).
The property has dual power entry vaults from the downtown
network grid, which is fed from multiple sub-stations
and features a history of zero power outages. Building
electrical service consists of eight (8) 2,000kva 480-volt
transformers, for 16,000 amps. Building switchgear is
new Square D swappable gear. .
Emergency
Power
SNS features multiple diesel generators each 1.5Mw.
These generators are used to support the main electrical
service for the data center and mechanical equipment
in the event of service interruptions or low voltage
conditions. Power is distributed via 480V, 3 phase,
4 wire bus duct.
Security
The facility features biometric, physical and other
access control devices, as well as manned security and
video surveillance. Customers maintain secure 24/7/365
access to the data center. The data center features
concrete walls, floors and ceilings, conforming to the
strictest physical security standards.
Environment
The environment is temperature and particulate controlled
environment features sixteen 30 ton Liebert HVAC units,
arrayed in redundant paths with 18 foot ceiling heights
for superior heat loss and airflow.

Advanced fire detection and suppression including state-of-the-art
automated pre-action fire protection and life safety systems.
