COLO.COM to Partner

Sept. 5, 2000 -- SAVVIS Communications Corp. today announced
a partnership with COLO.COM that will spur the launch of new PrivateNAP
Colocation Services in 12 cities in the U.S. and Europe.
SAVVIS
will provide highly reliable and secure colocation facilities
along with Internet service into its Private Network Access Points
(PrivateNAPs), which allow for high-speed, high-performance transmission
of data by bypassing traditional Internet bottlenecks.
The PrivateNAP(SM)
Colocation Services, using both SAVVIS owned and operated facilities
and COLO.COM facilities, will be provided in Atlanta, Boston,
Chicago, Dallas, Los Angeles, Miami, New York, San Francisco,
Seattle, St. Louis, Vienna, Va., and in London.

position in the industry by enabling us to provide the kind of
direct connection colocation that our content-intensive customers
are demanding,''
said Jack Finlayson, president and chief operating officer of
SAVVIS.
PrivateNAP
Colocation Services will feature secure data center facilities
where customers can locate their equipment. SAVVIS then provides
direct ethernet connectivity into its PrivateNAPs with speeds
ranging from 10 Mbps up to 155 Mbps
COLO.COM builds and maintains Neutral Optical Hub colocation facilities
for the deployment of distributed networks and services close
to end-users.
