Addanki Named CityReach CEO

Sept. 18, 2000 -- European internet infrastructure company
CityReach International today announced the appointment of Dr.
Sanjaya Addanki as chief executive officer.
Addanki, 43, joins CityReach from IBM, where he was Vice President
responsible for IBM's e-Hosting services in Europe, the Middle
East and Africa. At IBM, he was responsible for building a high-growth
business, driving significant increases in market share and recognition
for IBM in the e-Hosting arena.

said Ralph O'Dell, CityReach COO and co-founder. "Sanjaya
is joining at an exciting time for CityReach - we are well funded
and have ambitious plans for the company. The skills he has in
growing businesses, and in the Internet hosting technology and

aggressive roll-out strategy over the next eighteen months."

Addanki spent 16 years at IBM. Early in his career, he was with
the Thomas J. Watson Research Center in Yorktown Heights, New
York, where he was responsible for many advanced technology projects
in artificial intelligence, multimedia, and the Internet.
CityReach is one of the leading European firms providing connectivity,
infrastructure and services to companies using the Internet. CityReach,
whose U.S. headquarters is based in Ft. Lauderdale, Fla., will
have eight Secure Internet eXchanges (SiXs) operational by year-end
and 20 in total by the end of 2001.
