Peak 10's
Second Center Planned for Charlotte

Oct. 3, 2000 -- Peak
10, Inc. a data center and infrastructure provider, today said
it will open its second "Technology Gateway" facility
in Charlotte, N.C.
The 26,000
square-foot space in Cambridge Beltway Park, located at I-485
and South Tryon in Charlotte, will also serve as the corporate
headquarters for Peak 10, which earlier this year announced plans
to build facilities in 10 southeast second-tier cities. The company's
first data center opened August 30 in a 14,000 square-foot facility
in Jacksonville, and is already serving clients in that market.
"The
Jacksonville center was received with a great deal of excitement,
with over 250 potential users and dignitaries attending the grand
opening,'' said Nicholas L. Kottyan, one of the founding partners
Peak
10 was founded in March by Kottyan and David H. Jones, each
25-year veterans of the telecommunications industry. They raisd
$6 million to launch the company, and say they expect to announce
additional funding in the next 30 days.
