Equinix to Host Schwab Services at Two Sites

Oct. 9, 2000 -- Equinix, Inc., today announced that Charles Schwab & Co., Inc., the nation's fourth largest financial services company, will locate a portion of its network operations in Equinix IBX centers located in the Washington, D.C. and the Silicon Valley areas.
Equinix IBX centers enable Internet companies to interconnect with a choice of business partners and customers, providing them with the flexibility, speed, and adaptability they need to accelerate business growth.
Equinix designs, builds and operates neutral IBX centers (Internet Business Exchange centers). Its customers include AT&T, Cable & Wireless, Charles Schwab & Co., Inc., EYT (formerly Ernst & Young Technologies), IBM, InterNAP, Loudcloud, NorthPoint Communications and WorldCom.
