New
Data Centers Spur Deals For Globix
Company
announces contracts representing $25 million in revenue
July 10, 2001 -- Internet hosting firm Globix Corporation
today announced that it had signed approximately $25 million in
new contracts.
The new business was signed in the third quarter, which
ended June 30, but will not have a significant impact on the quarter's
results, which will be announced on July 24, 2001.

Globix said the deals were driven by last week's opening
of new data centers in New York and London. The New York Internet
Data Center is located at 415 Greenwich Street in the Tribeca
district, and the London Data Center in the heart of the financial
district at 55-71 City Road in the former Companies House.
These new facilities "provided much-needed space for
our complex Web hosting services." said Marc H. Bell, Chairman
and CEO of Globix."
"It is rewarding to see that our strategy of providing
integrated data center, networking and managed services is paying
off," said Bell. "Because of this period of economic
uncertainty, it appears that our enterprise customers are looking
to integrated service providers like Globix to save money by outsourcing
a range of solutions that cut down on costs."
Globix is a leading provider
of advanced Internet hosting, network and applications solutions
for business.
