Acquires St. Louis Center
Will expand into former ClearBlue Technologies site in 900 Walnut
Feb. 10, 2003 -- Fast-growing St. Louis area hosting provider
RackMy.com will move into a larger data center it has acquired
from ClearBlue Technologies, the company said today.
The
10,000 square foot facility, originally operated by Colo.com,
is located in The Bandwidth Exchange Building at 900 Walnut. Terms
were not disclosed.

RackMy.com, based in Clayton,
Mo., has experienced 500 percent growth in the past year on the
strength of a 100 percent uptime guarantee. The company says it
has maintained that performance standard for 27 months.
"This
acquisition enables us to easily grow and accommodate clients
at all levels," said RackMy.com President Brad Pittenger. "We
plan to maintain a carrier-neutral colocation space with connections
available from all major providers."

managing member for Bandwidth Exchange Buildings. "Their
growth and stability are encouraging in the current market."
The data center is situated on a dual-power grid from the power
company, includes redundant AC and DC power plants, parallel PowerWare
UPS systems and A & B battery plants for DC power, redundant HVAC
units, and redundant diesel power generators to protect us in
the event of extended utility company outages.
ClearBlue, which acquired
25 data centers in a flurry of acquisitions in the past 18 months,
has said ti will focus its data center operations in 13 facilities
being managed by its NaviSite operating unit.
