Feb. 11, 2003 -- LightStream Data Centers, Inc. today announced the acquisition of the assets of FiberCloud, LLC, including a data center in Bellingham, Wash.
. The acquisition allows LightStream to expand its regional hosting and colocation business in Washington state. The company operates a state-of-the-art data colocation center located in Everett, Wash.
LightStream Data Centers Inc. provides businesses with safe, secure server colocation services with high speed Internet access. It is a subsidiary of Whidbey Telephone Company, which was founded in 1908 and moved into Internet services with WhidbeyNet in 1994.
FiberCloud, previously known as as OS Data Centers, was originally a subsidiary of G. Nelson Enterprises.
