Solutions Signs Cyberlink
Dallas provider benefits from
turmoil among hosting providers
Dec. 18, 2002 -- Data center services provider Collocation
Solutions, LLC today announced the addition of Cyberlink ASP to
its Dallas facility.
Cyberlink,
an application service provider whose clients include Amoco and
American Airlines, has been through several migrations of its
equipment during the current industry turmoil.

"After having been through three previous colocation providers,
it was essential that we find a reliable and stable provider,"
said Stephen Phillips, president of Cyberlink ASP.
"Collocation Solutions' conservative business model
make them an attractive data center provider; and one of the main
reasons we moved here," said Phillips. "With no bloated expense
structures, failed expansion drives or debt, Collocation Solutions'
stability is rock solid."
"There is an urgent flight to safety from customers who
have outsourced their mission-critical IT to data center providers
that are financially distressed, or are closing facilities," said
Jim deVenny, president and chief executive officer of Collocation
Solutions.
"In the last several months, we've seen many cases like
this and understand a customer's insistence on financial and business
model stability as a priority in their decision to outsource,"
deVenny added.
Dallas-based Collocation Solutions is a privately held,
build-to-suit data center infrastructure service provider whose
customers include Electric Lightwave, a subsidiary of Citizens
Communications, and Wyndham International.
The company's investors include Hunt Capital Growth Fund
II, L.P., Koch Telecom, MarkPoint Ventures, and BG Media Intermediate
Fund, L.P.
"With our unique business model, carrier neutral architecture
and low market-driven prices, 2003 promises to be a banner year
for CS," said Don Frasier, executive vice president and co-founder."
Collocation
Solutions operates two data centers in the Infomart carrier
hotel in Dallas, along with sites in Austin and Las Vegas.
