Colo Announces Name Change
New Jersey provider becomes Access Integrated Technologies
Dec. 5, 2001 -- AccessColo, Inc., a provider of advanced
data center and managed storage services, has changed its name
to Access Integrated Technologies, Inc., the company said today.
The
Morristown, N.J. provider said the new name reflects its expansion
into new markets, industries and technologies. Originally founded
as a carrier-neutral colocation company, Access has broadened
its service offerings through a series of strategic alliances.

“Our name change to AccessIT more accurately reflects
our current and evolving business model of providing value-added
services, including managed storage services, through our Internet
Data Centers,” said A. Dale Mayo, president and chief executive
officer.
"We will continue entering new markets and delivering new
technologies and services to our customers, and we believe our
new name fully supports those strategies,” Mayo added.
AccessIT
continues to operate its own network of carrier-neutral Internet
data centers, and is now focusing on providing managed storage
services at those facilities through its AccessStorage-On-Demand
program. The company has sites in Manhattan, Brooklyn and Jersey
City.
