Signs San Francisco Tenants
Five new customers in a month for carrier hotel facility at 200
Paul
April 21, 2003 -- eXchange @ 200 Paul has signed five new
customers in the last month for its colocation services, the company
said today.
The
new customer signups build on market momentum for 200 Paul, a
carrier hotel with more than 420,000 square feet in two buildings
and connectivity from 32 different network providers. With its
eXchange Colocation unit, it is among the leading examples of
a building owner offering carrier-neutral colo space.

"We continue to see growing demand for our colocation
services as companies are looking for a reliable business partner
that will take the guesswork out of choosing a colocation partner,"
said John Wilson, president and CEO of eXchange @ 200 Paul.
"As the market continues to consolidate in 2003 and we expand
our wide array of Internet and telecommunications providers, we
believe that eXchange @ 200 Paul will continue to emerge as the
de facto choice for colocation services in the San Francisco Bay
Area," Wilson added.
The new customers include:
- MessageLabs,
Inc., a provider of managed email security services to businesses
worldwide, scanning email and eliminating threats such as viruses,
spam and other unwanted content before they reach end users.
- VerticalResponse,
Inc., an email marketing provider whose iBuilder service allows
businesses to quickly create and deliver email marketing campaigns
regardless of technical expertise.
- Native
Hosting, which offers dedicated servers for high-traffic image
and video intensive web sites. Native Hosting focuses exclusively
on international and domestic high-bandwidth dedicated server
customers requiring ten megabits or more of bandwidth.
- LegalMatch,
which helps match attorneys and high-value clients in their
preferred specialty.
- ISC, a
not-for-profit provider of software and services to the Internet
infrastructure community. Assets deployed within eXchange @
200 Paul include a mirror of ISC's f-root name server and resources
such as the NetBSD Project and the Linux Kernel Project.
"After
a thorough analysis of the colocation market in the San Francisco
Bay area, eXchange @ 200 Paul emerged as the ideal company to
host VerticalResponse's iBuilder application," said Jeff McConathy,
chief technology officer of VerticalResponse.
eXchange
@ 200 Paul is the premier marketplace combining the most advanced
carrier hotel and colocation facilities for network providers
