Expands San Francisco Complex
April 4, 2001 -- eXchange Colocation is expanding its San
Francisco facility with the construction of a 90,000 square feet
building, the colocation services provider said Monday.
Construction
of Building D of eXchange's San Francisco Facility, located on
a large telecom campus at 200 Paul Avenue, is expected to be completed
in September. The new building is part of the company's long-term
plan to build out 1.1 million square feet of colocation and carrier
hotel space on the 15-acre campus near downtown San Francisco.
The
company also announced that Mark Hansen and Lou Pasquale have
joined eXchange as Director of Operations and Data Center Manager,
respectively. eXchange also announced an agreement with CAT Technology
in which CAT will provide its comprehensive managed services to
eXchange's customers.
eXchange
Colocation LLC said it plans to expand further with facilities
in other Bay Area cities; including Santa Clara, Sacramento, and
the Oakland/East Bay.
