RAGINGWIRE NAMES NEW VP OF OPERATIONS

SACRAMENTO, California (September 6, 2006) – RagingWire Enterprise Solutions, Inc. (RES), a leading IT outsourcing provider of infrastructure, software as a service and on-demand solutions, today announced that Joseph Kava, former managing director of Applied Materials’ global IT operations, has joined RagingWire as its new vice president of operations.
With more than 17 years of technical and operational management experience in the technology industry, Kava brings extensive management and business leadership to RagingWire. Prior to joining RagingWire, he held several key senior director and management positions at Applied Materials. Most recently, Kava was the managing director of Global IT Operations, Corporate eBusiness Solutions, where he was responsible for all business operations for the corporate IT organization, including IT infrastructure asset management, internal business controls, governance and operations in 13 countries worldwide. Additional responsibilities included managing Information Security Systems, Sarbanes-Oxley compliance, portfolio lifecycle management, quality management systems and business process optimization, where he delivered operating cost reductions in excess of $20 million annually. Mr. Kava holds a bachelor’s degree in Materials Engineering from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo.
