THE PLANET BRINGS 2,500TH TOTAL CONTROL SERVER ONLINE
Dallas, TX... - The Planet recently announced that it had brought its 2,500th Total Control server online just nine months after the program’s launch.
Unveiled in March 2004, the Total Control program allows small - and medium - sized business clients to purchase precisely the bundled services and components they require without long - term commitments, up-front costs or nonessential add - ons. The program offers à la carte hardware, software, rackspace, bandwidth, backup and professional services from which customers can simply pick and choose according to their unique needs.
"We're thrilled to have had such tremendous success with the Total Control program," said Steven Canale, The Planet's Total Control Sales Director. "Bringing our 2,500th server online just nine months after launch demonstrates our continued success in meeting the significant market demand for affordable, flexible server solutions."
According to Mr. Canale, Total Control is ideal for businesses that need Internet solutions beyond a standard dedicated server, yet have found traditional managed solutions beyond their reach. "By bundling service items and eliminating mandatory up - front fees, we’re trying to make managed hosting solutions affordable for everyone," Canale said.
More than 40 different hosting services and components are offered through the Total Control program, including RedHat and Windows operating systems, Intel Xeon processors, centralized backup and a 100% SLA uptime guarantee. Package prices range from $249 to $1,999 per month based on hardware, software and services selected.
